This place Mountain Athos is in Ancient Greek Island that has 20 churches that are named after Greek Saints . There were a push for other people to come in other than Greeks other nationalities they wanted to become priests and they didn’t give up because they wanted to go there and become close to God that’s why they fought and pushed so hard to go there and become a priest and training to become priests some went there and sent to other Greek churches to go to other islands and serve as a priest and stay there and learn to become Greek Orthodox which is the first church in the planet Before Christ was born it’s with Moses in his time when he lived in Greece because in the Moses times those lands it was Ancient Greece then before the Romans has war with the Greeks I went to Greece and lived there and learned about this island Mountain Athos when I was in Greece going to school there For 5 years and the Ancient Greek history that had many wars with Roman’s they been fighting for more than 5,000 years those are the countries that been at war so many times in the past . This place is so Holly and that’s why they gave these rules they have great communications with the Greek islands and trade their goods so they have other things from many Greek islands that’s how I was taught by my teacher and woman are not aloud there so the Greek priests don’t sway from their devotion to God and Jesus and Mary and the saints the orthodoxy religion way of operating . It’s been a great system and it’s been there thousands of years before other people came and took over some of the churches that are not Greek because they pushed to go there because they wanted to become orthodox as well . I don’t blame them because it’s the first religion of the whole planet . The Greek highest priest was asked by a king of Rome to bring the orthodoxy in Rome which is in today’s world all the Catholic Churches came from the higher Greek priest in Greece of orthodoxy it’s also called Bazentine it’s the same as orthodoxy just another word that was used before Christ was born and after that they used orthodoxy so people could relate to that more easily I was told so it won’t sound so complicated the priest of Athens told me when I was there at the time in the 1970’s . They have a great organized way of doing things there they live off the land anf trade things with other Greek islands mostly by boat and by Helicopter as well . The system has been very successful that’s way they have been there more than 5,000 years I was told by my teacher . I don’t know where you got your information ? I am giving you information from my teacher who went there to see how it was like before he got married as a single man he was curious to find out about this Holly place he has interest in that before he married his wife and has 2 boys and then he learned theology there and then he came to Samos and taught it while I went there to school but about 20 years ago he passed away I was told by a friend that went to school with me there . This was a teacher that was born in Krete and in the ancient times Mary was moving by foot with Joseph and they had Jesus in Ancient Greece then at that time before they went to Anatolia where Jesus was taken there by his mother Mary and Joseph the names of the places changed they were conquered by the Roman’s and put other people there just like Kostandinos land the land of king kostas of Greece and Saint Sophia is there it’s Turkey today all of Turkey was Ancient Greece they burned and kicked Greeks out of there the Roman war with the Greeks then it’s all in the History Books in Greece in the Greek islands and university of Athens .
